This bonbon was inspired by . I remember trying this combo from her when cookie butter started getting really popular 8+ ish years ago, and I knew I had to create a cookie butter bonbon to add to my own collection. Thanks Kate for being such an inspiration to me 💙, I wish you the best in the next chapter after chocolate.

Time Lapse vs Real Time 🍫
Nothing fancy, just your local, small business chocolatier trying to let people know about my business and what I do
- 7 years of 🍫
- Started in my home kitchen - moved to my basement chocolate lab - now in a private commercial kitchen
- I use real, ethically sourced chocolate from & - no fake, sugar & oil almond bark or candy melts 🤢
- I do pop-ups at my kitchen 1-2 times a month, as well as pop-ups around CO, local deliveries, & porch pickup
- I hand paint and make almost everything I sell (I don't make the Oreos or cookies I cover in chocolate 😂)

I made a reel using a template but the sound didn't work when I posted it, so now it doesn't sync with the music since it's not the original sound 🎶 🤦‍♀️ Oh well, this is why I hate making reels 😂. Hopefully this one works....
I've been in the Chocolate Lab 🍫 working hard to stock up on bonbons for the Pikes Peak Chocolate & Cheese Fest on Saturday 4/4! If you haven't gotten tickets yet, you can get them online through their website. These are my biggest events of the year! There are 4 total, and I'll be at all of them. This one is in Colorado Springs, so all my Chocolate Lover Friends in I hope to see you there! 😘

Colorado Cocoa Pod turned 7 🤯 last week on 3/18 and while I didn't have a huge celebration or do anything special (then) I figured why not do a to celebrate 🥳 because it really is a milestone each year that my small chocolate business is able to survive 😆 and it's thanks to you - my wonderful customers who make it happen!
So I'm going to giveaway one of my Giant Egg Breakers 🥚🔨! These are filled with jelly beans, nerd clusters, chocolate dipped dried fruit, & other chocolate goodies. It comes with a chocolate hammer, and sits on top of a solid milk chocolate base. The entire Egg is made of chocolate & weighs about 1 pound total!

It's true, back in the 90's I used to get my content shown to my actual customers 🥲 (see what trend I did there?!? 🤣) but now I'm lucky if a few of you see my content anymore, which is unfortunate, but I try to remind myself the version of IG I'm using is free 😅 I can't really complain bc why would giant companies want to help small businesses right?...Did I even do the POV thing right? 🤔 I'm second guessing myself now 👀
But it is frustrating 🫠, so I totally understand if you're in the same boat...we got this. We are focusing on our businesses, putting in the work, & if you're like me, you are probably doing everything - or almost everything yourself 😅. Hang in there! Trust the process...that's what they say these days right 🤔...I feel ancient trying to remember the current slang 👵
To my amazing Chocolate Lover Friends who are also amazing customers -- Thank you for your continued support 🫶🥰 if you've managed to read to this point of my ramble, just know you're the best 💚. Restocked my Signature Zodiac Animal Bonbon Collection 🍫 last week! Thank you for choosing this set to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse 🔥🐴this year 🥹, it means so much hearing you share that this has become part of your family's tradition or how you look forward to getting this every Lunar New Year 🥰
Now that it's March, and Easter is less than one month away 😱🫣, I have my Giant Egg Breakers 🔨🥚 and Solid "Make Mine Chocolate" Bunny Tablets 🐰 that I'm partnering with to donate a portion of my Bunny Tablets profits to. This is to encourage parents to give their kids chocolate bunnies instead of real bunnies for Easter this year 🐇. I only made a limited amount of both, so make sure to get yours early!
