Obsessed with these new Taylor Swift songs, thankful that AI can't take my job 😜, and feeling meh about social media atm 🙃 bc IDK what to do to actually reach my chocolate lover friends & audience anymore. I'm not a content creator, just your average, Asian-woman-small-business owner-chocolatier-in Denver trying to juggle all the things✌️. My life isn't perfect, but I'm glad my chocolates are...at least I hope they are 😂🤞
Anyways, I'm headed to Waymire Dome to set up for the Colorado Dragon Boat for their Regatta Night Market 🐉 I'll be inside the dome with 🍫, being your cooler bags & ice packs 🧊 for what hopefully is the last hot 🫠 day of the year 🤞

Getting ready for the holidays! I already received a request for my Advent Calendars 🤯 which I usually release in October, but should I release pre-orders earlier?!? You tell me 👇. I am currently in the process of making Advent Calendar bonbons like this one, and plan on releasing 💯 calendars 🤞.
I am so glad it's finally starting to cool down 🍂 Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year bc I love wearing boots, leggings, & tunic tops 😂 while watching the leaves change colors 🍁. What's your favorite time of the year?

👻🧟‍♂️🪦☠️🎃🩸
It's finally starting to cool down here in Denver 🙌 I know I've been a bit quiet, the past 3 weeks have been a blur with my husband's family & then my family being in town. I feel like summer was compressed into those 3 weeks 😅. Since it's been so hot I've been doing smaller batches, fighting the heat in my kitchen 🫠 and trying not to melt.
Being in a commercial space this summer has been a challenge with the heat, freezers not cooperating, flooding, but so has this year. I know with rising gas & grocery prices, it's been hard to splurge on things like chocolate, but I am grateful to those of you who can & have 🫶. Even if you can't, sharing about small businesses like mine helps so much too 🥰 and I appreciate the emotional support.
I'll be at the Loveland Chocolate 🍫 & Cheese 🧀 Colorado Chocolate & Cheese Fests this Saturday at The Ranch! When you enter, I'll be to your left along the wall, so make sure you swing by for samples, refills, & I'll have my 6pc Halloween 🎃 bonbon boxes available! You can still get tickets online or at the door, just check out their page for the link 🔗.
Shipping will open in October once it gets cooler. I've also decided I'll probably scale back on summer markets. No more outdoor ones bc it's just too hot 🥵. I'll still have my shop open on Second Fridays from 4-7pm & at least one Saturday, but I'll be doing more markets & pop-ups between Oct-May for all the "chocolate heavy" holidays & use summer to take a break & stock up for the holidays 🤞

Still here 👋 just planning for the rest of the year, stocking up on bonbons, working half days to go home early to clean my house & socialize my new kittens 😺, doing pop-ups, and trying not to melt 🫠 in this heat 🥵

On a completely random side note 😂 I finally got my new ebike! 💛 🚲 And I've ridden it once I to work so far, and it was so much faster and more enjoyable to do 😆. So thanks to those who shared their experiences! I ended up getting the Fold Plus in mango 🥭 so it's like a bright yellow-orange-ish color. I liked the fact that it folds, is step through (easier to mount), and has brake lights & blinkers.
Anyways, hope to see you at a pop-up this weekend / this month 🤞😘. Don't melt! 🫠

Peanut Butter Cups are now available in both dark & milk chocolate shells 🙌...tbh these are my weakness 😅 I'm always tempted to be get the cheap Reese's PB cups, even though I know they are super disappointing 😂 (don't worry, I never do) so I caved and got some new moulds - what I consider the "classic PB cup shape" and decided to make my own 🤤. These have honey roasted peanuts, crunchy peanut butter mixed with a little bit of white chocolate, wrapped in milk or dark chocolate, & topped with a honey roasted peanut 🥜...they are bigger than my bonbons, a perfect two bites of crunchy, chocolatey, peanut butter perfection!
I know I've been a bit quiet on here, I've been taking some time off, went to Vermont & Montreal for a wedding & mini vacay. Trying to enjoy the slower chocolate months. I'm still here, you can still order chocolate 🍫, I have a few more pop-ups this month, and more starting next month, but chocolate doesn't really sell when it's 90°F+ outside 🫠 , but I'm stocking up on making caramels, bars, & of course bonbons for whenever you're in the mood for a little treat 😉

Totally unrelated, but my husband and I might be adopting 😺😺 soon 😅. We lost one of our senior cats 😿 recently, and went to a cat cafe just to pet them...of course found 2 that stole our hearts and we placed an application bc we figured why not. Welp, we're going again to visit them tonight to make sure they are the ones 🤞. Also, I rode my bike 🚲 into work 2x already, but I'm looking into ebikes 😂 so if you have knowledge on getting an ebike, pls lmk. I did test ride one today and it was sooo nice 😆, it actually makes me want to ride more, even in this 🥵 weather, but your girl needs more exercise and I'm sure it'll work out my 🦵 s 😂

Thank you for the birthday 🎂 wishes last Sunday 🥰! Turned 37 and spent the actual day not thinking about work for once 😂
I've been taking more breaks, still trying to recover from burnout & giving my hands a chance to heal 😅. They get super stiff from holding the moulds to paint & shell, I feel like I'm probably going to have arthritis 🥲
Been planning out production for the rest of the year, working on new things, while restocking favorites. Summer tends to be slower for sales & chocolate in general bc it's so hot 🥵 and melts so easily, but I'm hoping to take the "extra" time to plan ahead and try to enjoy the every day life as much as I can.
Last event this month is the Havana Night Market this Saturday, May 30th from 6-10pm in the .co parking lot. I'll have my own tent this time. Don't forget your cooler bags & ice 🧊 packs, and empty boxes to refill.
I'll have my Pecan Crunch bites available too! 🤎
Starting next month, I'll be opening up my kitchen "shop" every Second Friday from 4-7pm, so you can walk-in & grab chocolate 🍫 after work for the weekend in addition to opening one Saturday a month from 10-2pm ☺️
