We love using framing as a way to make old things feel new again, while still honoring the space and the pieces that matter most.

Partnering with Molly Torres Portnof of on a project that was all about honoring what already exists while giving it new life was such a joy. Using Burlwood (West Elm exclusive), Old School Metal Bright Gold, and Certificate Silver, she kept the original matting and feel of these pieces - while updating the frames to better fit the space.

We’re big believers that art should be a focal point in any room, and this space does exactly that! The mix of historic movie prints and warm-toned frames adds depth without competing with the design.

We loved working with designer on her 1931 Spanish Colonial home to determine how to best showcase her found, curated, and personal artworks. One of our favorite areas to frame was the cellar which was transformed into a speakeasy and screening room. The rich velvet walls and bold color make the space feel immersive, and the framed vintage film posters brought it all together in a way that feels intentional and true to the home’s character 📽❤️

We recently partnered with Molly Torres Portnof of on a project featured in - transforming Broadway actress 's Brooklyn Heights apartment into a Victorian dollhouse. As Barrett shared, Molly is “really good at incorporating all of my silly little tchotchkes into my home in a way that makes it look purposeful, and not just like a kid went to a flea market.”

We love how our frames came together in this space. There’s still a playful feel, from the family portraits to the personal pieces, and Molly brought it all together in a way that feels intentional, elevated, and still full of personality.

At Simply Framed, we’ve always believed art belongs on walls, not in storage. What started in 2014 as a simpler way to frame personal collections has grown into a platform supporting artists, designers, and brands working at every scale. As our trade projects became more complex, we realized framing isn’t just a finishing touch - it’s part of a larger creative process, and the art itself matters just as much as how it’s framed.

That’s why we're so excited to partner with Los Angeles–based art collective ! While Simply Framed was perfecting the "how" of framing and logistics, Visual Contrast was perfecting the "what." By combining our two worlds, we’ve created an end-to-end solution for the B2B and design community.
