Bought about 50 used record albums this morning. I think most or all will go in the $5 each boxes.

Merged 8 boxes of vinyl record albums into 4 sets of two boxes each today.

Still more to go. Getting easier to shop already.

After most a year of trying, I finally got the record store page changed to the current Ephrata, Pennsylvania store name.

There is a possibility I will sell all the music inventory in the store. I have a serious person interested in buying it.

However, until that is certain, I am going to operate on my current plans for a Seasonal generally regular hours of shopping without appointments on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm starting October 15th.

Those hours will be operational thru the first few days of January 2026 or until the store music inventory sells, whichever comes first.

There will be shopping appointments available other days and times before, during and afterward by texting 443-907-2367. Or by sending a message by Facebook Messenger.

The store inventory is exceptional strong, diverse, deep, high quality and lower priced than you will find in most record stores.

It will remain that way. I will be pulling more out of storage and buying more as current stock sells. You have my word on that!

I will treat my customers well regardless if you are new to recorded physical music, a devoted individual music fan, a serious collector, a reseller or the guy who might buy it all.

That is who I am and what I do.

Thanks,

Stephen Crockett
owner, Crockett's Record Store

P.S. - You are welcome to check out the store reviews on Google.

Picked up around 800 to 1,000 cassette tapes that a close friend in Maryland had stored for me for around 20 years. I will need to clean some of the display cases and consolidate a few of the cases.

I expect to get them in the store tomorrow..

I had nearly twice as many in total than I thought a month ago. I still might find more in storage.

My customers will be pleased.

Thanks,

Stephen Crockett

There will be 8 days of appointment only shopping before the long 2026 Seasonal regular shopping hours kick in that bigger buyers might want to shop.

The appointment only model often allows me to give you much more attention. You can usually move thru much more of the inventory quicker.

However, you will still be able to schedule personalized shopping during non-Seasonal ( no appointment needed) regular hours when those go into effect.

I hire no employees to keep prices low. This means that everything else that I have to do will impact regular hours and apponitment availability. Medical appointments, illness, family events and more do occur. I have a strong work ethic so I will try to be there.

Please do not try to shop the store if you are sick. I will not open if I am sick. I care a lot about my customers.

Thanks,

Stephen Crockett

Worked in 2,000 plus more CD's today. About 750 or more were Christian music. Over 100 were Soundtracks. About 150 were Easy Listening greats like Frank Sinatra. Very large numbers were Bluegrass and Country. There were Rock and other genres. These were new or like new used ones.

Added about 20 Laser Discs and at least 100 Christian record albums.

Brought in a lot of Rock bulk quantities of CD and DVD releases. Those were new ones.

Spent the morning updating Marketplace listings with info about the Seasonal regular hours changed.

Merged 6 more vinyl record boxes into 3 two box sets.

The store inventory has reached the maxumum the space can handle once I add in the van full I pulled out of storage. That will happen today.

Everyone who shops seems impressed with the amount, variety, selection, pricing, quality and mix offered by the store.

You can check out the Google reviews to verify this statement. All are 5 Stars and the comments are great!

You are invited to schedule a personalized day and time to come shop now.

Text 443-907-2367 to request a shopping appointment day and time that works best for you.

After today, I will have to sell a lot to bring any more into the store.
Thanks,

Stephen Crockett

I am considering Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting at 10am and ending at 5pm as the Seasonal regular hours beginning some day next week.

You could schedule shopping appointments for other days and times.

What are your thoughts on this idea?

If regular hours do not produce enough sales to justify my time commitment, I can always cancel them.
