Unpopular opinion here, but I can’t wait to replace my gas range at my house! The cleaning everytime we cook seems never ending and I can’t wait for the day when it’s one, easy-to-clean surface. Not to mention the safety concerns, air quality, boiling speed, cooler kitchen, and the many other benefits of going induction.

Starting today, follow along on my YouTube channel as I take you on the journey of swapping out my gas for induction.

Due to the massive 60” size, my options were relatively limited. I found this company called Induction Hardware and was instantly impressed with the quality, features, and just all around value. But, more on that later!

I have recently had clients requesting this pull for their projects, and it’s easy to see why!

The Barwick Ridged Cabinet Pull with Backplate by Armac Martin brings jewelry-like detail to cabinetry. Inspired by the elongated shapes and textures of traditional distillery tanks, its linear ridges wrap a substantial solid-brass handle, while the rectangular backplate adds depth and presence.

When I show this collection to my clients, the reaction is always very similar. A gasp, followed by “WOW!!!” The Gessi Perle collection offers so many unique designs within just the one collection that it’s impossible to overlook.

Gessi’s Perle Collection transforms the faucet into a sculptural work of art, taking inspiration from the pearl — one of nature’s purest forms. Each design pairs a dramatic, totem-like pedestal with a spherical “Perle” control crafted in Murano glass, natural stone, or metal, creating a fixture that feels more like jewelry than traditional plumbing.

Its controls combine two nested rings—one engraved and one meticulously polished—with tactile fluting and a discreet color indicator revealed as the handle turns. Even the concentric detailing recalls the markings and aperture scales of a camera lens.

Three handle designs let you focus the look:

• ZOOM.5 — inspired by a lens-focusing ring
• ZOOM.7 — based on a camera’s speed selector

Even the smallest details can make a major design impact.

For my personal bar, I chose the ROHL RSS1515BKS Forze bar and prep sink in black stainless steel. The sleek, dark finish brings a clean, elevated look that makes the entire space feel more custom. Today marks my 15-year anniversary with Ultra Design Center.

I still remember the moment this opportunity came about — I was trying to break into commercial real estate, and instead found a small showroom in an industry I didn’t even know existed. It was a small business with a team of six people who genuinely cared about their customers. After meeting the team and seeing the difference I could make, I knew this was where I wanted to be.

Fast forward 15 years, and the company is almost unrecognizable in all of the best ways. What hasn’t changed is our core value: genuine care and exceptional guidance for every customer we serve.

Much of that credit goes to Kevin Castelo, whose leadership has driven our business decisions and success every step of the way. Together, we’ve built something remarkable — a dominant force in the Colorado market that now serves customers nationwide.

I’m proud to have been part of this team for 15 years, and I can’t wait to see what the next 15+ years have in store!
