The Warren-Kinney White Oak, thought to be one of the oldest white oaks in the Western Hemisphere. Being no less than 600 years old at the time when the wind took her down, you can better understand the joy I have seeing the fruits of my labor. I custom built her using numbered bookend sides and backs in the exact order as they were sliced off the log! Playing this guitar, hearing her ring out, I could not be more proud!

The very last of the historic Basking Ridge White Oak, circa 1398. In the early 1800's the European "Terz" Guitar made its first appearance on the Chamber Orchestra Stage with its bold new sound reaching out and complimenting the rich sound of all others. Tuned to G-C-F-A #-D-G for a very unique sound indeed . A great way to end my good fortune of having a few pieces of that grand old monarch to create some of the finest sounding instruments I've ever made. I could not be happier!

Without a doubt, in the 40 plus years I've been a woodworker I've never held a more beautiful piece of Wild Cherry in my hands! It is with great pleasure that I am just getting ready to apply finish to this sweet thang! I've played her for some time now and love it!I The stunningly rich sound is wonderful! The laminated back and sides combined with this lovely Alaskan Sitka Spruce top make for a very exceptional playing experience. I've added just enough historical Basking Ridge White Oak elements to make her one you just can't walk past without wanting to play! This guitar will be ready for you this fall. Let's talk. One day out of the blue I was contacted by this wonderful young man who expressed to me his personal feelings about this incredible tree that he always marveled at the sight of near his home. Tragically, the tree was unable to withstand a tremendous wind storm that claimed her leaving only the memory of the grand monarch where she once stood. With enormous pleasure I placed her in his hands today. Well, these photos speak a thousand words! A couple very nice photos are in the comments. Thank you for the inspiration Bryn! 🎶

Quite a few years back while visiting Bailey Wood Product's in beautiful Kempton, Pa., I was exploring their "Gold Room" when I heard this beautiful piece of Paduuk calling out to me. Paduuk is highly regarded as an exceptional "dark horse" tonewood. Paduuk behaves nearly identical to high end rosewood especially paired with this flawless Alaskan Spruce top. Together they produce a very bright punchy tone with sharp articulation.. I've incorporated some highly figured Tiger Maple which really adds a little all around snap to this Parlor Deluxe Model. Reaching a total height of only 30' after one hundred years in the final chapter of her lifespan, it is very rare as a Luthier to have acquired wide enough pieces of Mesquite to make this select back set. Plenty enough left for my laminated sides and face plate to boot! Mesquite is known for it's especially warm tone, solid sustain, and a clear acoustic response. Her incredible strength makes for an ideal guitar for a working musician who wants a great guitar that can be fearlessly carried into any gig. This one will be ready for you this fall.
