Love these sweet angels! They make great gifts for your book club members, or any teacher, librarian, or other favorite book nerd on your holiday "nice list."

Made with pages salvaged from damaged books or sheet music, they look great hanging on the Christmas tree or on a bookshelf all year long. Large angels are 5 inches tall; small ones are 3 inches. Karen will have these and other shapes (stars, trees, snowflakes) at the upcoming Community Farmers Holiday Craft Market in Pleasant Hill on October 17.

So proud to play a part in Lilly's bridal shower this month. The party featured a book theme (so fun!!), including an amazing bookcase her father built. Lilly's parents reached out with the idea for this one-of-a-kind book -- created with cuts and folds and accented with strips of paper -- to mark the couple's special day on the way.

We've gotten lots of questions about the technique used for the bears, with some folks thinking it's an illustration that's drawn on. Here's the inside scoop!

This cut-and-fold technique also allows for any color of paper. In fact, Karen is working on a custom book right now that features a couple's wedding colors.

We love custom orders!
Here's one that will deliver smiles daily.

Lots of delicate cutting and folding with this one, and every page has a slip of black paper behind the folds to create this "drawing" look. Beautiful!

Big thanks to Saints Center for Culture and the Arts in Stuart for a very well-run vendor show today. What a beautiful building! And it was a joy to introduce so many new folks to book folding.

If you missed the show, fear not. You can always contact us about custom orders for your special occasions. Email [email protected] and let us know how we can help.
