The sun is FINALLY shining again! 🙏🏻😭

It has been a month of rain and gloom, and I think we alllllll needed a little sunshine! 🌞

Despite the gloomy skies, September was incredibly good to us, and I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU!

I know times are tough for so many right now, and the fact that you continue to show up, shop small, spread the word, and support what we’re building here at Divine Times does not go unnoticed. Your support is so so so seen and appreciated!🧡

We’re heading into our FOURTH anniversary month with full hearts and so much gratitude for this community!

Most of you have probably figured this out by now, but after going back and forth far longer than I’d like to admit, I made the incredibly difficult decision that Highland Happening will not be happening this year. 💔

What started as a little celebration of Divine Times’ anniversary grew into something bigger than I ever imagined. You all have shown up year after year…like, REALLY shown up. Businesses have broken sales records, and each year more wish they could be part of it.

As attendance has grown, so have my concerns about space, safety, traffic flow, and whether the current footprint can responsibly accommodate what Highland Happening, and frankly, Divine Times, has become. Doing it right this year required more planning and capacity than ever before, and some very BIG things happening behind the scenes delayed that planning in ways largely outside of my control. I kept hoping I could pull it off anyway, but eventually had to accept that I couldn’t give it the time and care it deserves. I refuse to throw something together just to say we did it, and because it’s become such a testament to my business and brand, it’s not something I can simply hand off.

I know this is disappointing, especially with the ending of other beloved local events. I wouldn’t make this decision if I didn’t believe it was right for Divine Times and everything I’m working toward.

When I look back, what fills my heart most is the community we built together. We’ve had people from all walks of life show up. Seeing our community (and even some from coast to coast!) sharing the same space and enjoying something I created made all the hard work worth it!

Thank you for showing up year after year, and most importantly, for continuing to show up for Divine Times. Highland Happening has always been about celebrating another year of this little dream…and all the love, work, risk, creativity, and care that goes into keeping it alive every day, not just one day a year.

I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store and to hopefully, FINALLY share what I’ve been working on…in divine timing! ✨
