ALI Thrift Shop’s purpose is to raise funds for our special-needs, no-kill animal shelter located at 4521 SE 14th St. To give the animals as much money as possible, our staff needs to say “no thank you” to items that are not working, not clean, not in a sellable condition or if we do not have space. DONATIONS ACCEPTED:
Wednesday - Saturday 10am-2pm only. ITEMS ACCEPTED:
All Clothing (Adult & Chil

Formal Wear, Shoes & Boots
Hats, Gloves/Mittens, Scarves
Jewelry, Accessories
Collectibles, antiques, knick-knacks
Housewares: small appliances, utensils, dishes, glassware
Books, records, compact disks, & DVDs
Games, toys, and sports equipment
Domestics: linens, curtains, blankets, etc. Electronics: Stereos, radios, VCRs, DVD players, etc. Furniture: dressers, tables, sofas, bed frames, (except waterbed frames) etc. ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
We have to respectfully say “No Thank You” & refuse the following items: items in need of repair, refurbishment, or disposal, this takes time & money away from animals in our care. TVs, Computers - Contact the Manager in advance to discuss
Large appliances: refrigerators, freezers, stoves/ovens, washers/dryers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, furnaces, microwaves, trash compactors, water heaters, large console stereos, Freon-based appliances, etc. Gas-powered equipment, string trimmers
Mattresses/box springs, waterbed mattresses & frames
Carpet & carpet padding
Plumbing fixtures or building materials
Recyclables: glass, newsprint, office paper, cardboard, plastics, magazines, junk mail, etc. Weapons: guns, bows/arrows, ammunition, hunting knives, etc. Cribs, car seats, walkers, or other products that do not meet the current safety standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, including recalled items. Household chemical products: pesticides, paint, paint thinner, drain cleaner, oven cleaner, aerosols & other environmentally unfriendly waste products. Automotive: hazardous waste, parts, tires, lead acid batteries, oils, additives, gasoline, antifreeze, etc.
