At DAV Thrift all our proceeds go to helping local veterans and the Disabled American Veterans throughout the state of Iowa.Save money and shop for a worthy cause! We have over 40,000 items on the floor and refresh our inventory daily. We are located just five blocks from the Iowa State Fair grounds.

The DAV Thrift Store relies on your generosity to support our local heroes. When you donate your clothing and household goods, you help us provide essential services, housing assistance, and career resources to area veterans!

Bonus: Because we are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, your donations are entirely tax-deductible!!

Bring items to the rear of 2627 E. University Ave or if it’s a smaller load. You can just bring them in the front door. Donation hours-Mon-Sat 10-6, Sun 10-4.
