Iowa V***r Product Update

I know there is a lot of confusion right now, and honestly, there are many more questions than we have answers for. We are getting information as it becomes available and want to share what we know with you.

Below is the latest information released by the Iowa Department of Revenue regarding Iowa’s V***r Product Directory:

Here’s the short version of what this means for our customers:

October 15, 2026 – The State expects to publish the first approved v***r product directory. Once the directory is published, only products included on that list may be sold in Iowa.

November 16, 2026 – The State expects enforcement of the directory to begin.

We are currently working with our manufacturers and suppliers to determine which products will be included on the approved list and what products may be affected.

Please know that we are paying close attention to this and will keep you updated as we get more information. We know you have questions, and we will share answers as soon as we have them.

House File 2677 regulates the distribution and sale of v***r products in Iowa by creating a directory of approved v***r products.

IMPORTANT IOWA V***R PRODUCT UPDATE — HF 2677

If you purchase v***r products in Iowa, we want you to know that changes are coming.

Iowa House File 2677 (HF 2677) is creating a state V***r Product Directory that will determine which v***r products can legally be sold in Iowa.

Right now, we do not know exactly what that list will look like.

Manufacturers are working through the registration process, and we are working with our vendors to find out which products are being submitted and approved.

The Iowa Department of Revenue currently expects the first directory to be published October 15, 2026 and that is also when enforcement of the law is expected to begin.

That means October 14 is currently expected to be the last day we can sell products that may not be included in the directory.

Until the State publishes the directory, we simply do not know for sure which products will remain available for sale and which products may no longer be allowed.

We do know that disposable v**e products will be impacted, so if there are disposable products or other v***r products you regularly use, we recommend stocking up now rather than waiting.

What we're doing

We are working with our manufacturers and vendors to get as much information as possible. Once we know what products are actually included in the State's directory, we will be able to give you better answers.

We will do our best to help you navigate these changes and find alternatives when products are no longer available.

We know change is coming. We just don't know exactly what that change will look like until the Department of Revenue publishes the directory on October 15.

An Update on Iowa’s V**e Registry Law

We’ve been hearing a lot of questions about Iowa’s new v**e registry law (HF 2677), and we understand why. There is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding how and when the law will be implemented.

We want to share what we know as of today:

• We have not received any direction to remove products from our shelves.
• Iowa has not yet published the official v***r-product directory.
• There is currently no announced date for the registry to take effect.
• No enforcement date has been announced.
• Our Central Iowa V***rs locations remain open and operating as usual.

We know this can be frustrating and confusing for both customers and retailers. We are continuing to follow the information coming from the State and will share updates as we receive verified information.

If you have questions, our store teams are happy to help with what we currently know. Please understand that, just like you, we are waiting for additional guidance and answers from the State of Iowa.
