I would like to thank each of you who has continued to check in with my business page and know that I really appreciate you and your support. As of now, the selling part of Lincoln Street Gifts & Quilts has been discontinued. However, I am still offering classes. There is one on binding a quilt on September 20th from 10am - 4pm. If you are interested, you will need a binding and a quilt or placemat to put it on. If you have any questions, please feel free to private message me through Facebook or text me. The class fee is $25 and I am limiting the class to 6 so each of you can get the attention you deserve. If you are interested, please text or private message me so I can reserve your spot. Thank you and hope to see you in class.

Finally life has seemed to slow down a little. Sooo, I am finally able to schedule some classes. The first one will be Thursday, July 8th, from 10:30 - 4:00 and we will be making the state pillow. If you are interested, please respond to this post or pm me. I have access to all 50 states if you want We will be making the Missouri map as the pattern. If you are interested in another state, please let me know. I will notify you through text message or email as to supplies needed, so please let me know if you are interested. Classes are $25 each. Hope to hear from you soon. If we have enough people interested, we can schedule another class, either daytime or evening. :)

It has been a while since I posted so I thought I would let you know I am still around. :) I am preparing for the Caledonia Quilt Show on June 12th and my granddaughter just came so I am staying busy. I do plan to continue with classes after the quilt show and will post them in the next couple of days. I hope you have a great Memorial Day and I will keep in touch. 😀

I think Spring is finally here. And I feel like it is also finally time to begin our classes. Our first class will be Tuesday, April 20th, from 11-3 and we will be making a thread catcher and pin cushion. Our second class will be the same week, Thursday April 22nd, also from 11-3 and we will be making an applique State pillow. The week after, we will be making a pillowcase on the 27th and a microwave bowl cozy on the 29th. I will be posting supplies needed with each photo and I can email or text you as well. Classes are limited to 6 for COVID precautions. Cost will be $25 for each class plus materials. If there is something specific you are interested in, please let me know and we will schedule it in. Hope to see you all soon.

The snow is gone, it is now March, and I have finally made some changes with Lincoln Street Gifts & Quilts. Throughout the Spring, Summer and early Fall, we will be teaching classes, doing special orders and learning how to use that new Long Arm Quilting machine. :) I will be posting the classes through events (if I can figure out how to do that) through Facebook. Our crochet classes will be on Saturdays for the time being. These classes will also be posted through events. If you know of someone who would be interested in classes of any kind, please either message me through this page, or email me at [email protected] You may have noticed in my introduction, I didn't say anything about Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. At this point, my plan is to have a Christmas Shop which will also include decorative items and gifts ideas for those other Fall holidays. Thank you all for hanging in with me during all these changes to our way of living and our business. Have a great week and, and Red Skelton always said, God Bless. :)

Isn't the snow beautiful?! It has required that I stay home for a few days, but that is okay, too. I thought I would update you all one what is happening at Lincoln Street Gifts and Quilts. I have decided to change the direction of the business model a little. There will be less consignment in the shop and I will focus on special order requsts, long arm quilting, and classes. Right now I am thinking beginning sewing, survival sewing, quilting, cross stitch, crochet and basic knitting. If there is something you want to learn - and I know how to do it - I will gladly add it to my list. If I don't know how to do it, I may have friends who do know and I can see if they are interested in teaching it. I will begin posting events here on Facebook when the weather is more cooperating. :) To all who have continued to check out my page, Thank you SO much. COVID and snow haven't been the best partners, but we will overcome all of this and get back on track soon. Have a great day and stay safe. 😃

I hope the first few days of this new year have been going great for each of you. :) I want to take a few minutes to tell each of you how much I appreciate how you have stayed with me over the last 3 years. Can you believe it? Three years ago I opened Lincoln Street Gifts & Quilts.

For the past few weeks, I have been doing a little deep cleaning at home and hope to get more done in the next few weeks. I will be at the shop off and on during the next 6 weeks or so, so if you see the "Open" lignt on, feel free to come on in. If you would like to see what is available and the light is not on or my car is not in front, feel free to call me at 573-854-1534, and we can set a time to meet there. I am planning classes for the latter part of February and into March for both daytime and evening. I am limiting the enrollment to 4 per class until we know better what COVID is doing. If there is something you are interested in, please coment below or private message me and I will get back with you. Currently I am planning a binding class, a rag quilt class, and a beginning sewing class. There will also be a quilt block class, but I haven't chosen the block yet.

I hope you are all healthy and are enjoying the beginning of this new year. Take care of yourselves, and see you all soon.
