Continuing with sharing some of my vintage kitchenware! Tonight I made a smoky asparagus soup with a bacon and homemade crouton garnish. To cook the soup, I used my vintage stoneware bean pot (circa 1970s - perfect for a small batch of soup!). The soup bowl was produced by Pfaltzgraff in the style of “Heritage Green”, originally produced in 1969. I’ve been using my green Pfaltzgraff set for over a decade; I originally sourced it at a Unique thrift shop while living in Chicago. The teaspoon with the bowl was made by Interpur in 1970s Japan! The salt shaker and hot pad are also second hand, but of the modern-day variety. I’m happy to say the soup turned out swell for winging it! My tummy is very content.

Hello, babies! I took a bit of a winter break to focus on some photography projects and sessions (y’all are getting engaged! Look at you, congrats!) but I’m BAAAAAACK. Today, I’ve decided to highlight some of my favorite HTV tops that are up for grabs and are cozy enough for a dip in a snow bank if you can find one. Yesterday’s vintage feat. a 1980s “Hot Stuff” hot pink shiny silky blouse, thrifted in Imlay City, MI. Check out that label! We love a good vintage clothing label and this one is by far my favorite I’ve come across! Other thrifted items include slip-on square-toed flats found in Marlette, MI (all right up Van D**e, you Detroit folks!), as seen in the first photo. Howdy photo bomb at the end, just for you. 💖
