Wallace Detroit Guitars uses reclaimed wood from abandoned houses in Detroit to make electric guitar bodies. The instruments emphasize the heritage of Detroit and build on the city's musical legacy. Each guitar is built to demanding specifications, and features high-quality hardware and hand-wound pickups. The guitars are currently in prototype phase, with initial sales expected in the summer of 2

The wood in this guitar started off as part of a piano that was in a Detroit Public School. The piano has been destroyed by years of rain, but the wood was AMAZING. We did this custom build, and this is a hard to guitar to part with. The two P90 setup has become a favorite for the shop.
