Urbanum had some true power people in the shop earlier this week while I was en route back from New York! How I wish I had been there to greet these folks but Sandra J. Mccoy was holding down the fort so to speak and made their Urbanum experience top notch ❤️ thanks Sandy 😘

Now to address this power pack of women from Huntington Woods. These women are difference and change makers who have collectively poured their heart and souls into their hometown which is my hometown. They were on their way to drive across the gordiehowebrg How cool that they made a stop at Urbanum. I promise a trip to Urbanum will enhance any and every Detroit outing 😍 Thank you Colette Nutton for being such a great Urbanum ambassador and organizing this outing! Visits like this make a huge difference for a small shop like Urbanum!

Had a blast of a buying trip in New York. A big bonus was hanging out with my son hayden who graduated from College For Creative Studies in May and has launched his accessory design career at Coach He was recently featured in Hour Detroit Magazine with the other amazingly talented CCS fashion design graduates ❤️

Can’t wait to roll out the finds from SHOPPE OBJECT and NY NOW® There is endless talent and creativity at these shows and it’s tricky business deciding which will get coveted spots at Urbanum! Hope the right choices were made!!

Insert lots of swear words!! Urbanum is being cautious and closing for today.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the start of our summer sale. It’s up in the air (no pun intended) on whether we’ll be open hit stay tuned.

Super glum on multiple levels 😢 The smoke is awful and it has even managed to make its way into the shop. We are closing early today, Thursday 7/16. Hoping to be back open tomorrow. Stay tuned 😌

We’re digging in the cupboards, sorting through the basement and scouring the shop shelves for soon to be sale merchandise!!! We want to move a ton of SKUs for the ton of SKUs we’ve got coming into the shop for the upcoming seasons which I can not bring myself to mention at this point 😂

If you can not make it to the sale on Saturday, stop by this week and mention the word SUMMERTIME for 10% off your purchase. And you may find that some of the sale bargains will already be out on the floor ready to be scooped up even before Saturday
