Ten minutes before the first dance an espresso martini went straight down the front of the brideโs dress...a full glass. I was already moving before she even looked up. Stain wipes, a little mild detergent, a silk cloth and a quick blow dry. Seven minutes later she walked in to her song and nobody had any idea.
Same wedding season, the mother of the groom's heel punched straight through the hem of her dress an hour before family photos. Safety pins and fabric tape. Done before anyone at the reception even noticed.
A groomsman lineup with one missing tie and zero boutonniere pins, twenty minutes out from the ceremony. No problem.
A bustle that wouldn't hold, hand sewn in a bathroom while the bridal party waited outside. Easy.
Sweat marks right before formals, fixed with wipes and a handheld fan. A cinch.
A dress zipper that split during getting ready. Fashion tape got her down the aisle. I've got you, girl!
Sweetheart table linens wrinkled from transport, steamed smooth before anyone sat down. Simple.
Decor that wouldn't stay where it was supposed to, velcro strips and command hooks to the rescue ro hold it up all night.
A forgotten cake server set, five minutes before the cutting, pulled straight out of the bag.
None of this makes it into anyone's wedding video. That's kind of the point. My job is catching it before it becomes part of the story. ๐ชก๐ค
