Today we highlight one of our very own. Sam has been with Grace Proper for a while now and I sincerely don’t know what we would do without her. She’s a listening ear, does her work with great care and attention to detail, embraces wild ideas and brings her best whimsy to the team. She’s artistic, nonjudgmental and kind to all those who walk through the door. Next time you come in, make sure to say hello!

Let’s not get too Squirrelly, the pumpkins are starting to ripen, the sun is hiding longer, calendars are getting busier and we have to try harder to take our space and time for self-care and connection. But if we lean into it, we might just find that there’s a special magic in autumn.

It’s not quite that time, but it’s about that time. Earlier mornings, overlapping schedules, the excitement of the first day and the worries we hold to start something new. For so many the world starts again in the fall when the school bell rings. Sometimes it’s that little something extra to let them know you’re thinking of them or let them pick something out to fuel their excitement, show their gratitude or calm their anxieties, no matter what it is for you, we wish all of you self-care, community, and gratitude in this season.

We love the Dexter Summer Festival, and all of the people who make a point to visit Dexter, but we appreciate those of you who are here week in and week out keeping our business alive. In that way, we’d like to show our appreciation by starting the sidewalk sales early so those of you and Dexter can take advantage. We hope to see you before the crowd!

They showed up, they worked hard, they cheered on their teammates and they had so much fun! We are proud of our Grace Proper Purple Panthers Championship win, but we want to recognize them for their growth this season. The volunteer coaches were dedicated, and each player on the team was highlighted for their successes and comforted in their learning moments. An atmosphere of resilience and teamwork was created. Until next year!

If there’s anything I’ve learned in life it’s that we have to cherish the time we have with those we love. Grace Proper will have adjusted hours late June and early July to accommodate some family time! We hope you are all taking advantage of this amazing season!

All new bath bombs in store, each with their own special prize! .sister.made hand makes and paints each one. They smell great and fizz delightfully! Minimal ingredients and should go well with sensitive skin.
