Total blow out...steady 4 ft waves with 6’s mixed in every 4 sec or so was a giant f’ing party!! Made it about 30 miles out before I tapped out. Found a good color change about 20 miles out on way back in trolled for a little bit got 1 king and lost another at the boat. Was a total bust today not happy at all. If I’m gonna play offshore I gotta get a real offshore boat not ride with my homie that’s got a large bay-flat offshore boat. Tickers boat is way better than either of my boats I’m not talking s**t on his boat it’s just missing 10+ feet and a engine or 2. Will take me a couple years to make it happen but by time stink is big enough to be able to go dad will be ready!!! Have to say J. Owen Underwood is a fu**in saint for turning around today. I know he is absolutely dying to fish offshore prob more than I am. I was fine till we stopped and started digging out tackle to rig the trolling rods as soon as I took my eyes off the horizon and the water I was DONE!!! I’ve only been sea sick 2 times in my life today was as close to #3 as you can get. Was burping, belly churning, hot/cold at same time but saved Myself. We headed back at that point and found the color change. Kinda sucks to spend the money and take a day off work to get slaughtered but ya never know unless you try!!!
