The Help Center will be closed on Wednesday, June 17 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM as we celebrate the retirement of one of our longtime employees.

We are so thankful for their years of service to the Help Center and to our community!

Our team has been busy today serving our community in a multitude of ways, and for these opportunities, we are thankful and blessed.

1. Today, despite the scorching sun, we served 198 families and over 729 individuals thanks to our partnership with St John Lutheran Church Burns and Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Huge shoutout to all of our amazing volunteers and staff for sweating it out to serve our community!

2. Our amazing team working hard in our Thrift Store and Donation Drop Off Center.

3. We participated in the Annual Dickson County Baby Shower. (Pics posted later)

3. We are ending the evening supporting our friends at the Humane Society of Dickson County with their first Annual Glow Dog Glow 5k (there is still time to register)

Together we are making a difference!

Friendly reminder! Our Mobile Food Pantry will be held this Saturday, June 13, at St. John Lutheran Church.

Distribution will begin at approximately 9:30 AM, but please plan to come early.

We always need volunteers to help make the Mobile Food Pantry possible. If you would like to lend a hand, you can arrive at 8:00 AM and help our team get ready to serve.

Are you looking for a way to give back to the community and have fun while doing it? Volunteering with us is a great way to do so!

You can also stop by our thrift store any time, and we will put you to work!

Daily volunteer opportunities include:
•Sorting through donations
•Hanging and folding clothes
•Organizing food in our food bank
•And many more!

Event-specific volunteer opportunities include:
•Distributing food at our mobile food pantries (Every 2nd Saturday of the Month!)
•Course marshal and water stations at our Give N Gobble 5K
•Sorting and wrapping toys at our Christmas Store
•And so much more!

Just a heads up! The Dickson County Help Center will have adjusted hours on Monday, June 8 while our team gathers for a company meeting.

Our Assistance Office will open at 1:00 PM, and the Thrift Store will be closed for the day.

We’ll be back open for regular business on Tuesday, June 9. Thank you for understanding!
