This week, Reading Rock Books presents An Artsy First Thursday book signing, with local authors Cat McCaughey and Laura Hawkins!!

Cat McCaughey has been an avid reader since the day she learned to read, and a writer for nearly as long. She had the idea for what would eventually become her debut fantasy novel during the Great American Eclipse of 2017. Seven years, one B.A. in English Language and Literature, and one hundred thousand words later, she published "branded" (stylized lowercase), the first in a YA fantasy adventure series!

Laura is a Christian, wife, and mother of two sweet kiddos. She lives in Middle Tennessee. When she's not writing, she's reading, homeschooling her children, learning new crafts, or playing disc golf with her family. She's obsessed with coffee, books, her kids, her husband, Jesus, and creating new characters and stories to fall in love with. "More Than Convenient" is the first in Hawkins' Immeasurably More series!

Both Cat and Laura will be meeting and greeting and signing books this Thursday, August 6, from 5pm-8pm!
