These two 🫶🏼

Last year, I happened to be in the store on a Sunday …looking reaaaaal good, I might add 🤣…when these two knocked on the door.

They were the absolute sweetest. They’re originally from Polo but live in Wisconsin now, and today they came back to see us. 🥹 They remembered stopping in that random Sunday and made a point to come back when they were in town.

WE LOVE STORIES LIKE THIS.

Truly, one of the coolest parts of owning this little store is realizing that people remember us. Whether you live down the street or a few hours away, the fact that you think of Society and make us one of your stops means more than you know.

Our Kiki is off to college for good 🥺 We’re SO excited for what the future holds for her, but so sad to see her leave. She’s been such a special part of Society and we’re going to miss having her here more than she knows. 🤍

But with one goodbye comes a new hello… meet our newest girl, Micki! 🫶🏼

And before you’re thinking, “Good Lord, how many girls work at Society?!” 🤣 hear us out.

These girls are GO GETTERS. They play multiple sports (some college sports), some are in college, some are in high school, have second jobs, are involved in school and somehow manage social lives on top of it all. We absolutely love that about them and we want Society to be a job that works with their lives, not one that makes them choose between the things they love.

So yes, our little Society crew keeps growing. 🤍 It gives everyone the flexibility they need, keeps the store covered, and lets us have some pretty incredible girls representing us.

We can’t wait for you to meet Micki…make sure you give her a big Society welcome when you see her! 🫶🏼

Yikes this weather is wicked. We are running a little behind today. Sweet Tay is stuck in Morrison in the hallway of a doctor’s office while they are under a tornado warning.

Thank you to everyone who stopped in today! 🤍
Our amazing girls were working hard all morning and into the afternoon, and we couldn’t be more grateful for them.

Isn’t it funny how the third born is usually the third born? 😂 I used to laugh and mildly roll my eyes when people would swear the first, second, and third all have their own distinctive personalities.

Then I had my third.

I confidently walked into the store this morning with my feral third born thinking we’d get a ton of fall inventory out. Turns out today’s accomplishments included approximately 37 snack requests, what could have been a casting call for the old show jacka$$, and me determining we were only going to achieve minimal productivity.🤣

So if you came in looking for something you saw online, we’re so sorry if you couldn’t find it! It’s here… it just hasn’t made its way to the sales floor yet.

We’re especially hoping none of our beloved suburb girls made the trip and left disappointed. 🫶 If you’ve got your eye on something, send us a message! We’ll happily pull it and have it ready for you.

As always, thank you for supporting Society, thank you for accepting my chaotic small business life, and for simply being the best! We truly have the greatest customers. And here’s a cutie sneak of the set that’s coming in that I can’t personally wait to wear to soccer. 🤎🍂

I fought it.

I rolled my eyes.

I said, “I’m not standing in line for squishies.”

Then my kids guilt tripped me into showing up at Five Below at 8 a.m. all summer. My mom said she did it for me, like it was my motherly duty or something.

And now… as a millennial who survived the Beanie Baby era… I hate to admit it, but the hunt is kind of thrilling. 🤣

So yes… Society is officially carrying squishies.

The catch? My kids are the buyers because I have no clue what’s actually cool. They also said it’s important to note these are water filled with glitter.

We started with these Halloween Dumpling Squishies, and honestly… they’re pretty stinking cute and the ghost even glows in the dark! 🎃👻🖤
