We had our own little “Small Business Saturday” and it wasn’t even planned ahead, it just turned out that way…. two months early! 😂❤️ And honestly, it was such a fun reminder of how much we have right here in our own community.

My gym bestie and I started the day with coffee at Café Bonita followed by lunch at Best Cellars, W**e, Books & Gifts— a delicious croissant and turkey sandwich — and then ended the day with dinner at the newly reopened Thai Garden🥰

We were SO happy to see Thai Garden back and in their beautiful new location. It was wonderful seeing the owners and employees again, catching up with familiar faces, and enjoying some fantastic food. It made celebrating my son and daughter-in-law’s 11th wedding anniversary with our family even more special. ❤️

This weekend, I simply wanted to stay close to home, life has been so busy. As it turned out supporting some of the small businesses that help make our community what it is, made it a fabulous day and we had such a GOOD time doing it!

It reminded me that supporting local doesn't have to be complicated. Grab a coffee. Meet a friend for lunch. Meet the family for dinner, stop into a local shop. Every little bit matters, and behind these businesses are real people, families, dreams and lots of hard work. ❤️

So wherever your weekend takes you, I hope you'll remember to LOVE LOCAL when you can. 🥰 We have many wonderful small businesses right here that add so much to our lovely community.

And apparently, we decided Small Business Saturday didn't need to wait until November! 😂❤️
