Good Sunday Morning!

The fishing has been decent the last couple of weeks and it’s been fun getting out and putting them in the boat! Catching lots of panfish on the 1.75 inch paddletails trolling them slowly on local lakes! Also catching some chunky smallies on the Wisconsin River on ned baits on current seams.

Pro Staffer Charlie got in on the great weather the past weeks and put some largemouths in the boat! The fishing team of Joe and Blake also put some great largemouths in the boat!

Get out and get in on the spring bite!

Happy Easter!

I am excited to have taken a custom order from a new customer that sent baits to Texas! Phillip got the baits and went out and put a couple in the boat the very next day! No better feeling then when a customer shared pictures of their catch!

I snuck out fishing this Friday for a little crappie action and it was a slow grind but was worth it. All of the crappies came on a purple or electric blue 1.75 inch paddle tail swimbait! Slow trolling them worked best in the cold water. Caught 7 fish but time spent in the boat with a good friend is worth it!

Good Morning and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I’m still looking and getting signed up for events this spring and summer. Looking at the Ridgeway Farmers Market on Sundays as well as Morale Feat in Muscoda. With more to come!

The weather was beautiful this last week and I snuck out locally and found a good bass bite on a junebug ned. Caught 11 in total including a smallmouth bass!

Good Saturday Morning!

I am excited to announce that Fiddy Baits will be a sponsor for the upcoming Dodgeville FFA Donkey basketball event on Friday, March 8. Here are the details for the event that starts at 7 PM.

The Dodgeville FFA is sponsoring a Dairyland Donkey basketball show on Friday, March 8th. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and we encourage everyone to come purchase a meal from the Dodgeville DECA/FBLA club before the games tip off at 7:00 pm. Teams for the event are Dodgeville FFA Seniors, Dodgeville FFA Juniors (including Dodgeville Police Department), Iowa-Grant FFA, and Belmont FFA. tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and are available from any Dodgeville FFA member. Kids under 5 can get a free ticket with adult purchase and we will be offering youth donkey rides at half-time.

You can also catch me cheering on the Defending champions of the event, The Dodgeville Police Department! I will be assisting in coaching the team !

This is a great event that helps support a great program that as a youth I was involved in!

Good Morning!

The walleye fishing has been steady the last week and I was able to get out and put some beautiful fish in the boat! Got to take some friends fishing and enjoy a couple beautiful days on the water! Plus Pro Staffer Charlie caught this beautiful drum!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

For the record, I’ll be cheering against the Taylor Swifts! 😂

The weather has been crazy and the ice is not what everyone has been hoping for. Please be very careful if you plan on hitting the ice this weekend and check as you go. That being said we were able to sneak out and catch some fish the last couple Friday nights, the bite wasn’t great but we managed to catch fish. New Pro Staffer Shawn and I caught some great walleyes along the way as well.

I am starting to look at event dates for the spring and summer and will be putting a list out by the end of February! Stay tuned!

Happy Sunday!

Another week of ice fishing in the books and the reports were mixed. I struggled to find active fish in my two trips out this week on local lakes. I managed to catch a few fish but it was great being out on the ice! Pro Staffer Tyler hit the ice and had a great day keeping some panfish for a fish fry! Congratulations goes out to Blake and Joe Stodola for coming in second at the Blackhawk fisheree!

Good Sunday Morning!

So glad the ice is back! Was able to sneak out and put a couple fish topside in a 2 hour quick trip to the lake. Red was the only color I got a bite on. Got a couple more pictures from the Pro Staffers as well!

Remember to check ice conditions this coming week with the possibility of rain a couple of days. Be safe out there and remember no fish is worth losing your life over!
