What do you do when you get a pucker (or two) in your backing fabric?

Since there are multiple puckers and folds and this was the first row of quilting, I opted to take the quilt off of the frame, remove all of the quilting, and just start over. The frustrating part is that the backing loaded wonderfully - no sagging or drooping, nice and even.

On another note, take a look at this brand new to me panto!

Are you a pinner, or a winger?

I pin when I really want (or need) a precise seam. Otherwise, I wing it most of the time. Of course, there are times when 'winging it' comes back to bite me. In those moments, I get out the Seam Reaper and the pins and fix it the right way. Should I have pinned to begin with? Probably. But life is short and sometimes we just want (or need) to sew! Finished is always better than perfect anyway, right?

This is a seam that I achieved without pinning. 😊 Yay! Do they all look like this? Definitely not, and I'm OK with that! Pick your battles and do what you want, not what others think you should do. Just say no to the Quilt Police! No one needs that kind of negativity in their life 😉
