Noticed two keys sticking while tuning this piano today. After a thorough inspection, a barely visible toothpick that had fallen between the keys turned out to be the culprit and part of the piano had to be disassembled to remove it. Closing your fallboard when the piano is not in use can help prevent a sticky situation.

Sometimes a piano needs more than just a tuning. This Yamaha grand piano had a key that simply would not work due to a broken string holding the whippen repetition spring. The whippen was removed for repair back at the shop while allowing the newly tuned piano to be played in the meantime, minus the one note.
