**Effective immediately, we will no longer accept toys for consignment or cash buyouts.**

We will still accept larger children’s items such as walkers, rocking horses, bouncers, and similar equipment. Unfortunately, we have been unable to keep smaller toys from being opened, scattered, and sometimes damaged while in the store.

We will continue selling the toys we currently have until their expiration dates.

Sweet Magnolias is proud to be a kid-friendly store, and we love having children visit! Our play area will remain open so kids can play and enjoy themselves while their adults shop.

We need your help!

Emma starts her senior year on Tuesday, and unfortunately the Curious George backpack we ordered isn’t going to arrive in time.

We’re hoping someone might have a Curious George backpack they’d be willing to sell. It doesn’t have to be brand new! It would be the perfect finishing touch to match her senior jeans.

🏖️ As Back to School gets into full swing and vacations and pool days start winding down, swimwear sales have slowed.

Our swimwear racks are still fully stocked, so we will no longer be accepting swimsuits until next spring. This helps ensure our consignors get the best possible value for their items when demand returns.

A little note to our consignors đź’›

Please do not feel hurt or take it personally if we are unable to accept some of your items, or if certain items do not sell and are returned to you.

Consignment is always a little bit of a guessing game. Some items sell quickly, while others may not sell at all. Even items that I feel certain someone will love sometimes do not sell. What customers are looking for can change based on the season, current demand, size, style, condition, and many other factors.

We take pride in offering gently used, quality items that we believe have the best chance of selling. I also do my best to post, advertise, and promote items whenever possible, but unfortunately, there is never a guarantee that everything will sell.

If you bring in a bag and a good portion is returned, please know it is not personal and does not mean your items are not nice. They may simply not be what our customers are currently shopping for.

We truly appreciate every consignor who trusts us with their items and helps keep Sweet Magnolias stocked with wonderful finds. đź’•

Attention, consignors!

To help avoid payout delays and app limits, I’m going to begin sending payouts today. Fingers crossed, this will allow everyone to be paid by the 5th without the payment apps locking me out due to limits and random errors!

I also know many of you are getting ready for back-to-school. If you need your payout and have not received it yet, please send me a quick message, and I will send it as soon as possible.

Tired of sorting through your children’s clothes only to realize they are not in season yet? We can now store your items until they are ready to be consigned!

Have winter clothing ready now? Bring it to us, and we will safely store it in our upstairs storage area. When it is time to put out winter inventory, your items will be **first in line for processing!** This service is also available for holiday clothing and items for other seasons.

Please pack items in a tote, box, or reusable shopping bag and clearly label with your:

• Name
• Phone number
• Season or holiday

We will handle the storage and the hard work, so you do not have to keep bags and boxes cluttering your home while waiting for the right season!
