During the “off season” of lavender and in between special events, as we continue to water the lavender plants through the hot, dry days, there is a little time to rest and reflect on what Four Sisters Farm is all about…it’s so much more than growing lavender.

It is spending time thanking God for His many blessings and seeking His direction for what comes next. It is seeing and celebrating growth in our grandchildren and thanking God for our family, friends and acquaintances. It is working to keep stocked up in the two stores that carry our products. It is dreaming about new lavender products, pondering how many things we can actually get made, deciding how to make them available, and sometimes making decisions to wait, and trust God to guide each step.

We are SO thankful for all our customer/ friends and love hearing from you about lavender…from growing questions to recipes to purchasing inquiries and all the things. Thank you from the bottoms of all our hearts for following us, visiting the farm in June when the lavender is in bloom, and purchasing our products directly or at Marketplace 67010 in Augusta and Sunflower Skies Boutique in Andover.

Four Sisters Farm sponsors two sweet girls through Sarah’s Love and are so grateful to get to share in the work happening in Uganda. 💟

💗 Meet Winnie 💗

Winnie is 16 years old and currently in Senior Two. She is the oldest of five children, and from a very young age, she understood what it meant to help provide for her family. At just six years old, Winnie began working to help her mom care for her siblings.

After her parents separated, Winnie’s mother joined a cult and left the children behind. Winnie was then taken in by a relative, where she has continued to navigate circumstances no child should have to face alone.

Despite everything she has been through, Winnie is still working toward her future and her education. ❤️

Winnie is currently waiting for a sponsor through Sarah’s Love. Sponsorship can help provide the support, education, and opportunities she needs to continue growing and pursuing a brighter future.

Yesterday morning found me marveling at the sunrise in the fog. I was like a child who wants her dad to “do it again” and he gives in to the child’s delight.

“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

I finally replaced the old rope on the swings out front…with purple rope, of course. It was a beautiful evening and the cats “helped” with the task. 😜
