Builder brain struck again. 😅

Tonight I’m working on some handmade paper butterflies for an upcoming event. We originally contracted wooden butterflies, and I already made them, but once they were finished I just wasn’t in love. They felt like they needed more dimension and movement.

So naturally, I decided to teach myself something new and try crepe paper butterflies instead. 🤪

And y’all… I am OBSESSED with how these turned out. The texture, the shape, the detail… they feel so much more alive.

I’m excited to surprise my client with these as a complimentary upgrade this weekend. Stay tuned for the full 🦋 reveal and let’s see which version wins: Team Wooden Butterfly or Team 3D Butterfly? 👀
