IF YOU ALREADY SIGNED UP TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE WITCHES MARKET...

Let’s get ready!

The market is getting close, and I want to make sure everyone who has already signed up knows where they’re needed and what they’ll be doing.

Please stop by The Groovy Witch during business hours before the market so we can go over how you can help.

I’ll also be having a **volunteer meeting this Sunday at 3:00 PM** at The Groovy Witch.

We’ll go over:
• Volunteer roles and shifts
• Setup and breakdown
• Vendor assistance
• Where everyone needs to be
• Market-day details
• Any questions you may have

If you already signed up, please come to the meeting if you can. If you can’t make it, stop by the shop during business hours before the market so we can make sure you’re all set.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already volunteered. I appreciate you being part of the team and helping make the Dover Witches Market happen.

Let’s get ready!

A Little Vendor Process Clarification

As I work through the final details for this year’s Dover Witches’ Market, I’ve learned a LOT about what goes into organizing an event of this size.

One of the things I want to clarify is how vendor spots are secured.

For the Witches’ Market, vendor payment was due when the application was submitted in order to secure and hold the requested spot. An application by itself did not guarantee a booth.

When payments come in months after applications were submitted, there can unfortunately be a problem. By that point, spaces may already have been assigned and filled based on the vendors who completed their applications and paid on time.

If a payment come in after August the spaces may have been finalized and there is no longer an available spot, the payment will be refunded. I do not want to take someone's money if I cannot provide the vendor space they applied for. ( Refunds, are being made after the market.)

This is my first year organizing the Witches’ Market as the new owner of The Groovy Witch, and I am learning a tremendous amount behind the scenes. There are vendor applications, payments, booth assignments, insurance, city requirements, road closures, police details, multiple locations, maps, practitioners, food vendors, and a whole lot of moving pieces.

I am doing my very best to keep everything organized and make sure the process is fair and consistent for everyone.

If you don't see your name on a current vendor list, please don't panic. I have spot numbers and information scattered across multiple lists while I'm getting everything transferred and finalized. I promise I am working on it.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and grace while I learn the ropes and bring everything together.

Blessing Be,
Misty Bubbles

IMPORTANT WITCHES’ MARKET VENDOR UPDATE
There will be some changes to the vendor list for Dover’s Annual Witches’ Market.
As we continue finalizing the market, a small number of vendor agreements have been found to be out of compliance with the participation requirements that were agreed to when vendors applied and were accepted.
When you participate in the Witches’ Market, you are agreeing to follow the rules and requirements outlined in the vendor application and agreement. These requirements are in place to protect the integrity of the event, keep the market organized, and ensure that the same standards are being applied fairly to everyone.
When a vendor is found to be in violation of those requirements, their participation may be revoked and the vendor list will be updated accordingly.
Please understand that these decisions are not made lightly. I have put a tremendous amount of time, work, and care into creating a market that is intentionally curated around witches, magickal practitioners, artisans, and our local community.
I will not be publicly discussing individual vendors or specific situations. Please respect the privacy of everyone involved.
The final vendor list will continue to be updated as we work through the remaining details.
Thank you to all of the vendors who have taken the time to read the agreement, follow the requirements, communicate with me, and help make this event what it is intended to be.
