As of this month, h**p was almost severely restricted! One bill would have made h**p drinks illegal to sell anywhere but ma*****na dispensaries and liquor stores, but thanks largely to Sen. Kyra Hoffner, you will still be able to find them in stores like ours or health food stores, etc. Sen. Hoffner as well as Rep. Sean Lynn have vowed to help protect h**p stores like Puffster. This ongoing fight will unfortunately continue next year, with legislators attempting to highly regulate h**p. A bill was proposed that would make anyone who wants to keep selling h**p products apply for a h**p sales license with strict criteria and an insanely high $15,000 annual licensing fee, invasive regulations by OMC, and a 9% additional tax on the products. If something like this is passed next year, that would mean drug stores like Walgreens couldn't sell CBD anymore without going through this rigorous, unnecessary process. Liquor stores don't have restrictions like this! Make it make sense! The price of the h**p products you love will inevitably increase, and businesses like ours that can't afford to comply or that do not wish to be subjected to unnecessary and invasive oversight could go out of business.
