After many years of caring for and serving our Luther Towers and Luther Village residents, we say farewell to Karen Ambruso as she begins an exciting new chapter by moving out of state.

Karen has been much more than a hairdresser. She has been a familiar face, a trusted friend, and a bright spot in the lives of our residents of Luther Towers and Luther Village. Through every haircut, hairstyle, and conversation, Karen built lasting relationships, offering kindness, compassion, and genuine care to everyone who sat in her chair.

While we will miss her friendly smile and exceptional service, we are grateful for the memories she has created and the friendships she has nurtured over the years.

Please join us in thanking Karen for her years of outstanding service and wishing her every happiness, good health, and success as she embarks on this new adventure. Karen, you will be deeply missed, and you will always be a cherished part of our Luther Towers and Luther Village family.

We have recently enhanced our outdoor spaces at Luther Towers and Luther Village with upgraded landscaping designed to create a more welcoming and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors. The improvements include new planter boxes, vibrant seasonal plantings, and well-maintained green spaces that enhance the beauty of the community while providing inviting areas for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

We were proud to welcome Dr. Kimberlynn Reeves and retired FBI agent Scott Duffey from Wilmington University Center for Law, Justice and Society. They hosted an event at Luther Towers on "How to Prevent Fraud" for our Senior Citizens. It was a well-attended event and we are so grateful for the outreach.

In honor of Father's Day, we celebrated the fathers and father figures who inspired, guided, and supported their families and communities every day. We are grateful for their dedication, hard work, and love, and we hope all dads enjoyed a wonderful and well-deserved Father's Day. 💙

Our residents continue to amaze us. Today’s computer basics class was full of curiosity, laughter, and those wonderful “aha!” moments. From learning how to navigate the internet to exploring new technology together, everyone jumped in with enthusiasm.

We’re so proud of their willingness to learn, grow, and stay connected in a digital world.

Our walking club has been hitting the paths, enjoying fresh air, good company, and the simple joy of moving. It’s a beautiful reminder that caring for our health matters at every age — and it’s never too late to start something new.
