Twelve of these fought me. Seams that would not meet, points that came out blunt, one block unpicked twice before I gave up and moved on.

Then the thirteenth went together on the first try, like it had been sitting there waiting for me to calm down.

What finally clicked for you after you had almost given up on a block?

Two bolts, same shelf, same name on the label. I cut forty blocks before the morning light showed me they were never the same cream.

Now it stays up on the wall while I decide whether to unpick it or call it a design choice.

Ten minutes into a Monday morning and I heard that sound. You know the one.

The needle came off worse. The pin is bent in a way no pin should bend. The seam is fine, which somehow makes it more annoying.
