Pay: $15.00 - $30.00+ per hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled EDM or CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC or EDM equipment to produce precision parts according to detailed specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the use of various measurement tools. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality and efficiency.
Experience preferred, but we are willing to train as well.
Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and EDM equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to produce accurate components.
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMMs, and other precision instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues.
• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain documentation of machining processes, setups, and inspection results for quality control purposes.
• Collaborate on process improvements.
Skills
• Proficiency/experience in CNC or EDM machining.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and blueprint reading..
• Mechanical knowledge related to machining operations and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs accurately.
• Hands-on experience with CNC lathe and CNC milling machines (HAAS & Sodick for EDM)
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment including forklifts while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
