Myself along with several other artists were commissioned awhile back by to do some t-shirt designs. They’re a black hair and culture brand. My idea was black beauty. The first take involved a black woman being drawing by an art class. It didn’t really pop. I liked the concept but wanted something more colorful and vibrant. Finally I ended up with this and I like how it came out. I’m grateful to be able to post about it now. Check out to see when the shirts will be dropping and also for the good vibes.

So a few months back I wrote a screenplay for a short film about a man dealing with a manic episode and eventually going to a psychiatrist and being diagnosed with bi-polar. That screenplay was adapted to make this short film so I received a story credit. The project is a 3D animated short film adapt to help raise mental health awareness. I have to say a million thank you’s to for producing the film. It took a team of people to help edit and bring it to life. Special thanks to my sister for her help and input.

Bringing awareness and not being afraid to talk about these things can lead to people getting the help they need. Thank you to those that do check it out.

Fatherhood - I

This is the first of what I hope to be a series of 12 pieces on fatherhood. Although, I am not a father yet it has been an honor and a privilege to see the change that becoming a father has had on many of my friends. The impact that an active father can have is immeasurable. In turn, I want to dedicate a series to acknowledging the part they have in raising the next generation.
