Talking With Kids About Godā€™s Plan

How do we talk to our kids about big topics like gender and equality?

As Christians, we donā€™t have to choose between truth or love. Scriptures states we should speak truth in love!

We can teach our children that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent dignity and worth

ā€œSo God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.ā€Genesis 1:27

We can also help them understand that Godā€™s design for humanity matters, while encouraging them to treat everyone with humility, compassion, and respect.

These conversations donā€™t need to be perfect. Theyā€™re opportunities to listen, answer honestly, point our kids back to Scripture, and show them what it looks like to speak truth in love.

Our goal isnā€™t simply to give our kids answersā€”itā€™s to help them develop a biblical worldview and hearts that love God and love people well.

Join us as we set aside time to prayer and pursue the presence of God. Every 4th Tuesday of the month, we are opening our doors for a dedicated prayer night centered entirely on seeking the Lord. We are stepping out in faith and expecting God to move in powerful ways. No matter what you are carrying, Jesus is in the business of restoring what is broken.

If you are hungry for a fresh touch from the Holy Spirit, this night is for you. Come as you are, bring your petitions, and letā€™s press in together.
