Hey friends! I am working on a seriously exciting project: a shop that blends vintage accessories, bespoke hats, and mending notions in one fabulous place. It's equal parts high quality vintage accessories, handcrafted millinery, and space for people to learn old fashioned mending techniques.There might also be cheese involved at some point. I really like cheese.

Right now though, I need your input: what would draw you in? What are your favorite accessories? How do you feel about wearing a pince nez?

Millinery Meet-Up 2024 is a wrap! Six days with my fellow mad hatters in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. We learned from some of the world's most gifted milliners this week, and I am so grateful for my new memories, new skills, and new friends.

Anyone want to see what synchronicity looks like? THIS. RIGHT. HERE.

I knew this fearless, fiercely funny girl in high school in my little town of Short Pump, Virginia. She was my style icon, even though I was never brave enough to dress as cool as she did.

I haven't seen Kat since graduation, but Kat is here in the Greater Capital Region visiting friends from her college days. It transpires that her friend sits on the board of . ECB is the organization that supports my work and the work of dozens of other creators in the region through the Barn and the Artistry Studios .

I am of the opinion that the universe is conspiring to bring Kat to our creative community.
