While we did not personally know this family…. It is a very sad story affecting our local community …..
💔 𝗕𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.
A longtime member of our local community and the 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗬 𝟮𝟭 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹—the sand, the salt air, and especially Madeira Beach held a special place in her heart. If you live, work, or have spent time here, chances are you crossed paths with her or even had the privilege of working alongside her.
Most importantly, 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗺.
There are simply no words for the unimaginable emotional burden these children are now facing. Their lives have forever changed, and the grief and healing ahead will extend far beyond these first heartbreaking weeks.
The girls are now safely in the care of their biological father and surrounded by love, but they have had to 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱—their safe space, many of their mother’s belongings, their routines, and everything that felt familiar. They now have to create a new space where they can begin to feel safe, secure, and at home again.
𝗡𝗼 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗺. But it can help ease the very real financial burden that comes with suddenly rebuilding a life. It can help provide the girls with the necessities, comfort, stability, and security they need as they begin a new chapter they never should have had to face.
Madeira Beach has always been a community that rallies around our own. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
Out of respect for the children and their family, and because of the deeply traumatic and graphic nature of what occurred, 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘀, 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱𝘆.
