I’ve returned from the UK 🇬🇧and life and so many pretties are in full bloom. Couldn’t wait to get the world’s best London Fog latte when I dropped off these bouquets today.

Speaking of London Fog lattes, after trying to order one in London, throughout the Cotswolds, AND in Edinburgh, I can report they are apparently not a thing in the UK 😂.

I’m curious - Have you discovered that something named for a place isn’t actually from there? Like me finding out there are no London Fogs in London? ☕️🤔

Today I’m extra thankful for flower farmer florist friends and family who are taking care of allllll the things so that I can get away with my husband to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Big shoutout to Heather from for taking such stellar care of my prom clients and bouquets for the last 2 weeks. Pick up yours today!

Because it’s Mother’s Day, and my husband knows my love language is acts of service (& that I reallllly need some sleep 😅) he’ll be replenishing bouquets at Native Cafe this morning. They close at noon on Sundays, so, as my Mom used to say “Don’t dilly dally!” Thank you so much for your overwhelming support of my little flower farm/floristry business. I’m exhausted, and also, so very grateful! ❤️❤️❤️

Mother’s Day can be a lot at once. Joy. Gratitude. Grief. Love. Longing. Exhaustion. Hope.

For some it’s breakfast in bed and homemade cards from precious littles, for others it’s the ache of missing Mom, navigating infertility, or carrying the weight of all the beautiful and brutally hard that can come with parenting.

Whether you are celebrating a Mom in your life, comforting someone who is grieving, supporting someone walking the sometimes circuitous path to motherhood, or just want to treat yourself, I hope these bring just what you need this Mother’s Day.

It’s Flora, head “wishie-hunter” here at Flowerbike Farm.

No dandelion-gone-to-seed escapes me! I spot the floof, prance right in and POOOOOF - mission accomplished. Then its eyes up, tail high, and on to the next one. A wishie-hunter’s work is never done 😊

With my help, we should have quite a colorful field next dandelion season! You’re welcome.

This Earth Day, be like me. Spread a little wild, a LOT of joy, and make the world a more colorful place.

This is the time of year when I typically start posting armfuls of beautiful, bountiful specialty tulips. I DO still have thousands of tulips this year, but I also have an UNREAL vole infestation. They made themselves much too cozy tucked under the blanket of snow in PA this winter, and caused significant damage to much of my crop. Plus, they are just.so.gross, and they are giving me the wi***es and all the icks, and making me not even want to be outside 😩 (I’m brave about OTHER things!). The tulips had significant tariffs added this year, which made it extra insulting to lose so many. Tomorrow, I’m bringing in a company to help get rid of them, which brings another significant expense.

The sunny side? Little Miss Flora! She is the best distraction from voles and all the chaos swirling about in the world. She is bringing so.much.JOY (but definitely NOT helping with productivity - I’ve never ever just sat down in the grass and rubbed a sweet pink belly before😆)
