Visit our second location, The Lahaska Bookshop, in Peddler's Village! Since opening our doors in 1998 in downtown Doylestown, we have been able to offer our customers an alternative to the ordinary. We carry an extensive inventory of new and nearly new books, from classic literature to current bestsellers. Our staff is knowledgeable and friendly and able to help you choose the perfect book for you or your family. In addition to books, we carry a wide variety of other items, including toys, games, puzzles, unique journals and notepads, greeting cards, gift bags/wrapping, magazines, and an eclectic mix of gift items like our classic book-themed t-shirts. Each month we host a series of events with both talented regional authors and writers with a national profile. Hope to see you here!

We've partnered with our friends at The County Theater to welcome Rondo-nominated author Lowell Greenblatt, who will be in conversation with co-director of programming and fellow Fredhead, Brendan Joyce. The pair will discuss Greenblattā€™s latest work Nightmare Autopsis: A Return to Elm Street - along with Freddy's indelible legacy as a horror icon AFTER A SCREENING OF A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.

The film will be followed by an author discussion and book signing in the lobby. The author's book will be available for sale at the theater.

This is a ticketed event. You must purchase tickets to the movie, which will automatically include access to the discussion and book signing. https://buff.ly/7aHLCjo

Not even a Norā€™easter can stop the horror community!

We had the best night with authors Keith Rosson and Chuck Wendig as they talked about Keithā€™s newest book, Crone. Laughs were had. Books were signed.

A big thank you to the authors and readers who braved the wind and rain to hang out with us - and to the bookshop staff whose hard work makes these events possible.

We now have signed copies of both authors books available. Order online or give us a šŸ“ž 215-230-7610.
