I'm sad to announce that after 9 years, Flo From the Heart is retiring effective immediately, and will no longer be making their trademark miniature baskets and woven figures. It was a hard decision for them to make, but they are going to be pursuing other things that are easier on Flo's hands.

I know this will be heartbreaking for many of you who have collected her treasures over the years, but I hope you will join me in praying all the best for Flo and her creative partner and husband, Jeff, as they move into the next phase of their lives together.

They are a precious couple and dear friends to me and I want only the best for them both.

We do still have a lot of in stock items at New Found Treasures, located at 515 Main St. in Dresden and hope you'll stop by and purchase a memento of Flo's creative genius! I'll be posting pictures soon of what we do have in stock so you can order if you'd like. Currently, all Flo From the Heart items will be 10% off and we will ship for shipping cost only.

Flo has created another beautiful miniature Easter Basket in an oval shape with stationary handle in antique brown with green, yellow, blue and pink accent weave! 4" wide by 2.5" across and 5.25" tall including handle. $30.00 for the basket alone. Flo has also hand-painted wood Easter eggs! $44 for the Easter Basket with Egg. Eggs are $14.00 alone or $18.00 with stand.

Although I can't place this inside the retail shop with my Flo From the Heart miniatures, I still want to let you all know of the availability! I'm selling my home in Dresden, located on Main St. within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants found in our lovely village!

It was formerly a Bed & Breakfast (Sarah's House Victorian B&B) and operated by my husband, Steve, and myself since 2005. After the passing of my husband I ran it for another year by myself, but changes to our local economy forced me to close the B&B and find work elsewhere.

I dearly love this home, there are so many wonderful memories here, so many friendships made and so much love and laughter. But as I get older it has become increasingly harder to care for it in the way it needs cared for and on my limited income it is difficult to make even minor repairs.

Zillow has an estimated value on it of $346,000+ but I am offering it for $265,000. I am also open to offers, all of which will be prayerfully considered.

It would be easy to return it to a B&B or other home based business! The Carriage House is currently being rented out so you would have that income if you choose to continue to rent it. There are four bedrooms each with private bath on the 2nd floor, and one room, currently used as my home office, that has a bathroom.

New Owner's could live up stairs and use the Library, Parlor and Dining Room as a retail shop or antiques shop! Lot's of uses for this grand home. My heating budget has been $99 per month for the last year, and that includes heating the Carriage House. Electric is not on a budget currently and has been running around $80-$100 in the winter and $280 during the hot summer months (but I keep the thermostat on 68 degrees in the summer as I can't stand the heat.)
