Our Story

Welcome to Jones’ Official page.

Jones’ Sporting Goods, had its beginning in a small 1500 square foot shop in Sesser, Illinois. In July, 2013, with 5 fi****ms and a dream, former Military Police Officers Lacey and Cody Jones, opened Jones and Son Guns, in hopes of building a legacy for their children. The Company has continued to prosper, expanding to include the sales of sporting goods. They now provide local sportsmen and women with Archery, Fishing and Hunting gear.

Their time in the military gave them great knowledge of the inner workings of fi****ms. Cody honed his skills, partaking in gunsmithing classes and an apprenticeship. He builds custom AR’s and services most fi****ms. Along side Cody, his brother Dustin, provides gun cleaning services and maintenance.

Relocating to Du Quoin, Illinois in 2016, allowed Cody and Lacey to expand even further. They re-branded, Jones’ and Son Guns, now Jones’ Sporting Goods. Opening an indoor archery range, giving them the ability to found an Indoor Archery League that gave local archers a place to gather and hone their skills.
