I am Christye Qualls, Owner and Head Baker at Toadstool out of Dublin, Georgia! Since I was about 9 years old, I have always had a love and passion for baking. Nothing has brought me more joy than having the opportunity to bake for friends and family. The Toadstool offers a variety of options including catering events, small orders of baked goods, local fresh coffees and teas. My goal is for every

one of my baked goods to make you feel as though you have tasted magic itself! ⋆⭒˚｡⋆

I am inspired by my support system and strive to create baked good products that are inclusive to those with various dietary restrictions and limitations. Everything is made fresh to order. I also use quality ingredients along with offering gluten free and sugar free options; so everyone has something to enjoy! I think this is something that we have all been waiting for. Toadstool is back open! While we never really closed we did take quite a hiatus. We figured things out, and ready to start baking!

I say "we" but actually its just me. Christye, the owner, the baker, the accountant, the operations manager, social media manger, and literally anything that goes into owning a business.

I am exteremly excited to be baking for you all again. With that said, I will be easying myself back into. I will take local (within an hour drive of Macon, GA) orders only right now through messenger. I plan on getting back to markets, and even doing some pop ups shops. Currently it will be a limited seasonal menu.

I know you all have noticed the lack of posts and really anything. Well, that's because I'm still ill, and that means everything is a lot. Especially, baking tons of tasty baked goods and being out all day at events. So, what does that mean for Toadstool? Toadstool will continue to be in hiatus while I shift gears to focusing on my health, but also making Toadstool become a real brick and mortar shop that you can actually come to with in the next year or two.

A brick and mortar has always been the ultimate goal for Toadstool. A bookshop with a small cafe wheres you can come and enjoy a moment of fairy tale peace. So, that's what's I'm going to do, but that plus health issues will take 100% of my time and focus making internet engagement limited. I will keep you all updated though!

Thank you all so much for your love, understanding, and support. I'm looking forward to the future!

My advice to anyone who is starting out baking, or in a baking rut: Make something for you! Something you've been craving, had an idea for, or just want to try, DO IT! It doesn't have to be pretty just made. Example: Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls. Not how I pictured them at all, but so tasty. I'm glad I made them! It made me and my tummy very happy. (I baked them at night since its so hot.)
