We provide a select curated collection of vintage items from over the past 70 years of fashion. We are working to help make a change and stop that by saving clothes from being gone forever and giving them new life. We offer all sorts of colors and unique styles that can be worn by anyone, no matter your size or gender. We currently carry vintage sweaters, jackets, flannels, dresses, t-shirts, jeans, and more alongside a curated selection of vintage home goods and accessories. Join CHAIN Vintage and DBQ Pride for an evening of upcycling, visible mending, and creative style rework at Planted. Learn beginner-friendly techniques to transform clothing through patches, embellishments, repairs, and more. All supplies and base garments will be provided, and every participant will take home a sewing kit to keep creating.

Join CHAIN Vintage and DBQ Pride at Planted. for an evening of creativity, self-expression, and sustainable style. Participants will learn visible mending, embellishment, and light upcycling techniques while exploring the idea that fashion has no rules.

Bring 1–2 garments from your own closet (or choose from provided pieces) and transform them into something uniquely yours. No sewing experience needed—all supplies are included, plus a take-home sewing kit.
