For too many women who served, the answer is: not us.
We're incredibly proud to see our co-founder, Christina Schauer, and TSWW member, Melissa Gilstrap, sharing their stories in KCRG's We the People: Women Veterans Fight to be Seen, Find Community. Their interview shines a light on something we've known all along: women who served deserve to be seen, supported, and surrounded by community.
This is exactly why Tri-State Women Warriors exists.
And it's exactly why we're so excited to host our FIRST-EVER Women's Conference on Saturday, September 19th, 0800-1600, at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC), Conference Center, Peosta, Iowa.
