Welcome new local artist with a very special featured series, The Superior Hiking Trail: Duluth ✨️

We first met Virginia Alexander during the plein air workshop that Sue Pavlatos hosted last month. We were so excited to hear about her series that features intimate forest and creek scenes and the vibrant local flora found across our city.

Her collection takes you along the Enger Trail, through Hartley, Brewer Park, Piedmont and Leif Erikson, along with stops at Miller, Keene, and Chester Creek!

Stop in to see these stunning pieces, Minnesconsin Gallery is open daily from 9 to 7 pm.

Mosaic mirrors and watercolor Mermaids by Irina Volkova ✨️🧜‍♀️

Irina is originally from Russia but has been a longtime fan of this area, as she has family here. We were excited to hear that she recently moved here to Duluth.

Her unique pieces and artistic eye bring a refreshing, otherworldly vibe to the gallery walls ✨️

Each piece has a story ✨️

On her last art drop Kris Nelson, the brilliant mind behind Chairs by Kris, shared the inspiration for her peony chair. The blooms she painted are peonies that have been passed down for three generations-from her grandmother, to her mother, then to Kris.

Kris is an amazing contributor and mentor in the Duluth area art scene, with the bold mission to paint 1000 chairs by the time she turns 100! Stop in the gallery to see her Peony chair, and new chairs from her Minnesota State Park Series!
