As part of our favorite venue series, today we’re highlighting Meadows at Mossy Creek. 🤍

Nestled in the rolling hills of North Georgia, this venue is one we never get tired of designing at. Between the mountain views, open meadows, and beautiful ceremony site, it provides the perfect backdrop for weddings that feel both elevated and connected to the natural beauty of North Georgia.

This recent wedding featured one of the dreamiest color palettes, layered whites, soft blush tones, delicate orchids, garden roses, and romantic greenery. The flower-filled ceremony arch framed the mountain views beautifully, while the reception florals carried the same palette throughout the celebration, creating a look that felt timeless, elegant, and completely at home in the setting.

Anyone can order flowers, but the difference with working with The Cottage Florals is how those flowers are designed.

For this wedding, the bride asked for an artistic statement bouquet, something memorable, something unexpected.

The movement of the orchids, the softness of the antique hydrangeas, the way the amaranthus trails from the bouquet, and the sculptural shape of the calla lilies all worked together to create a bouquet that felt less like an arrangement and more like a piece of art.

From the bridal bouquet to the bridesmaids’ bouquets and ceremony florals, every detail felt connected without feeling identical.

How stunning is this painting of this couple and our floral arch?

One of our favorite details from this wedding was watching .illustrations transform a ceremony moment into a piece of art. From the finished painting, to the work in progress, to the floral arch that inspired it all, every step is a reminder of just how talented she is.

Long after the wedding day is over, the flowers are gone, and the candles are blown out, this artwork remains, capturing a moment exactly as it felt.
