Our store isn’t a member of the chamber of commerce - so this post is instead from a small business owner and community member in Duluth who has a few words to say to the members of the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce.
I’d like to add our voice to this conversation in support of other businesses in the Twin Ports who are taking a stand against the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce’s recent decision to support for the proposed Google data center to be built in this area. It feels like a betrayal of trust and leadership in Duluth and the surrounding area.
I’m not sure if you care to hear what local small business owners have to say about the safety of our communities and the dangers the data centers present or if big corporation money is already too deep in your ears- but I sincerely hope you try to listen.
