Another shipment in today, some new kits, some restocks!

Tamiya 1/24 Mercedes Benz 500SEC looks to be a stunning kit!

Also, ship builders, we've got Academy's 1/350 USS Indianapolis.
And because I still find this fascinating, here's a history fact about the Indianapolis:

In 1945, transporting a secret shipment (so much so that no one on board knew) of materials likely to be used to construct the atomic bomb, the Indianapolis was struck by Japanese submarine's torpedos, and the shop promptly sank in under 15 minutes. Nearly 900 of around 1200 men made it to the water alive, but over the course of several days, the injured and deceased men attracted sharks, which began to attack the floating survivors. They managed to ward most of the sharks off after organizing groups and splashing to scare them off.

Only 316 survived of those 900 initial survivors, with estimates of up to 150 deaths being directly shark attack related.

Well... it happened again. No power today means we're gonna be closed until it comes back on. I'll update if anything changes, otherwise we should be able to resume normal hours tomorrow.

REMINDER!🚨 TOMORROW SATURDAY 8-15-26 MODEL CLUB MEETING 12-2

***I included some helpful parking diagrams for you!***

We're expecting a larger turnout this weekend, with some new faces! With this in mind, please be mindful of our small parking lot!

Larger vehicles, park in the gravel side lot, perpendicular to the building. Please do not just pull up on the concrete and block the road or parking spaces. We should be able to fit 7 or so vehicles out there comfortably.

As for the main lot, please try and pull up all the way into the space, and avoid parking in the main entrance way (marked with no parking paint) unless nothing else is available. We can't have anyone parking on the fence side of the concrete driveway anymore, and we're trying to keep parking on the concrete to the absolute minimum!

We'll make it work, and I will help if needed! Thank you all, see you tomorrow! -Wyn
