Do I already have approximately 50 other books that I’m currently reading? Yes. Is that going to stop me from immediately starting The Final Final Girl? Absolutely not. 😂

It came out TODAY, and y’all know how much I absolutely love James Kaine and everything he writes—especially The Dead Children’s Playground! I’ve been looking forward to this one, so every other book is officially being placed on hold until further notice. Sorry to them. 🤷‍♀️😂

📚✈️ Bound & Built is heading to Denver! ✈️📚

I’ll be attending FallCon in Denver from October 4–7, and I am beyond excited! I’m hoping to return with lots of amazing ARCs, fresh ideas, new industry knowledge, and plenty of exciting things to bring back to our bookstore and our wonderful reading community.

I haven’t officially decided whether the shop will be closed while I’m away, but I wanted to give everyone an early heads-up—especially those planning to preorder The Witch by Freida McFadden, since it has a major release during those dates.

If the bookstore does close, preorder copies of The Witch will still be waiting safely for you, but pickup would begin when we reopen on Thursday, October 8. I’ll announce the official store schedule as soon as I’ve finalized everything. Thank you all for understanding and for being just as excited about this opportunity as I am! 🦉📖✨

While you’re making plans for the week, be sure to save some time for us this Saturday! We are so excited to welcome the lovely Jennifer Edwards to Bound & Built Bookstore for a special author signing! She will be here from 12–4 PM, signing her books and meeting readers. ✍️📖

I already have quite a few of Jennifer’s books available here at the bookstore, so you can stop by today, pick one up, and start reading it before Saturday’s event! Then you can bring it back to have it personally signed—or wait and choose your book during the signing.

At 5 PM, we’ll have Owl’s Book Circle! 🦉 Book Circle is a relaxed gathering where everyone brings their current read—there’s no assigned book, and you don’t have to be finished with it! We’ll share what we’re reading, talk about what we’re loving (or not loving 🤣), and connect with other book lovers.
