I want to do a deep dive into a phrase used by MTG all-star LSV (Luis Scott-Vargas)
This phraze denotes a less-than desirable card to use in a limited format (e.g. sealed, draft)
The phrase : Moving Around Resources
He specifically called out the card [[Braids's Frightful Return]] (seen below) for such behavior
Let's break down what this card does
Chapter 1 allows u to trade off one of ur creatures for a card in ur opponent's hand
Chapter 2 gets back that creature or hopefully an even better creature from ur graveyard to ur hand (not even the battlefield, ugh)
Chapter 3 hopefully draws u a card while dealing 2 damage to ur opponent unless they elect to get rid of one of their permanents
After all is said and done ... LSV is spot on
This whole card just moved around cards from one zone to another
In a limited format, cards need to have more of an impact to bring victory!
So don't get MAR'd down by lack~luster cards like [[Braids's Frightful Return]] π
