One of the biggest misconceptions about personal styling is that we source clothing for one person or a few aesthetics. Maybe we just center around one brand and that’s the end of the story.

In reality, every piece has a journey. And we style so many different people who are wildly different.

Some finds are the perfect match for one of our subscription clients. Others are incredible vintage pieces that deserve their own spotlight, so they make their way to our Depop shop. Every month, we circulate those one-of-a-kind treasures for fellow vintage lovers to discover.

Our goal has always been to keep great clothing moving. Not sitting in a storage unit or ending up in a landfill.

It’s all part of building a circular business where every piece has the opportunity to find the right home.

One of my favorite parts of styling is helping bring someone else’s vision to life.

I had the pleasure of working with Brooke and her friends on this engagement-inspired tennis shoot, and every look was built entirely from secondhand finds.

I chose a timeless designers like Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren tennis that felt effortlessly elegant. Together, the combination felt romantic, playful, and completely authentic to the story they wanted to tell.

The chemistry between these two made every photo feel natural, and the tennis court theme was such a fun reminder that styling is all about creating a moment.

This is exactly why I love secondhand fashion. Beautiful, quality pieces already exist in mint condition like this. They just need the right person to come along and scoop them up to give them new life.

When I started A Curated Thrift in 2020, I wasn’t just starting a business—I was bringing together everything I’d learned throughout my career.

Years spent thrifting taught me how to uncover hidden gems and see the potential in pieces others might overlook. My experience working in the fashion industry as a stylist for runways, including a clothing buyer for major companies, taught me how to evaluate quality, fit, fabric, and what makes a garment truly worth investing in.

A Curated Thrift became the place where those two worlds came together.

From day one, my goal was to build a business rooted in sustainability—not as a trend, but as the foundation. I wanted to make secondhand shopping feel approachable, convenient, and exciting while helping normalize thrifting as an everyday way to build a wardrobe.

What started as one subscription box has grown into our Shopify store, a rack at Coastal House Vintage, our Depop shop, new subscription box options, and soon, a styling course to help even more people shop secondhand with confidence.

Six years later, that mission hasn’t changed.

Every curated box, every vintage find, and every client who chooses secondhand is another step toward making thoughtful, sustainable fashion the norm.
